When you need to access corporate emails from mobile devices, the native email client app or specific email client should be configured according to the corporate email settings. With Intune this configuration can be managed centrally using Email Profiles.

Following devices are currently supported for Email profiles

• Windows Phone 8 and later
• Windows 10 (for the desktop), Mobile Windows 10 and later
• iOS 8.0 and later
• Samsung KNOX Standard (4.0+)

Create Email Profiles – iOS and Android

For this scenario I’m using Office 365 to configure using Email Profiles. Devices are already enrolled and Outlook App is deployed.

1. Login to the Intune portal, Configuration Policies,
2. Click ADD and select Email Profile (iOS 8.0 and later) / Android
   
   
   
3. Fill the details of your email configurations
   
   
   
4. After saving the Profile, you will be asked to deploy the policy
   
   
   
5. Select the group that you want to deploy the policy, its better if you can create a test group and deploy the policy to that to test the configurations.
   
   

Access Emails from Devices

After few minutes email configurations will be received to the devices. Default email client will be auto configured. For iPhone devices you have to provide the password at the initial login also you can go to the settings to confirm email account is created or not.

Android are also works same, but when configuring Outlook app, you do not need to give Username and password of the Office 365 account.

1. Go to the Settings – Accounts – Add Account - Outlook
   
   
   
2. Select Office 365 as the Account type
3. Next pick account window, select the work account which is configured by Email Profile
   
   
   
4. Open Outlook App
